Love this podcast!
This show had covered so many shows that I have loved, or loved to hate, from my childhood. It’s great hearing your perspectives, especially from 2 different generations. Keep up the good work!
Great podcast
Love listening to you while at work. You’ve done a couple movies that I’ve never heard of. I can’t wait to watch them.
Ferret
Loved this weeks podcast. Also Ferrets can be trained. I had a friend who had ferrets and she litter box trained them and they did a few tricks. Down side is they stink and they chewed the furniture 😂

Two generations take on classics
James and Beth are hilarious! It’s nice to see films I loved being revisited through the eyes of my generation and the non-nostalgic younger generation. Always a fantastic listen.
Funny & Entertaining look at the movies of "Yesteryear"
Discovered James & Beth thru Hillbilly Horror Stories. Some podcasts require listening to a few episodes before you "get" the personality of the podcasts; this is not one of them. I was hooked from the first one. Whether you've seen the movie they are re-living/reviewing, you'll find them truly entertaining. There's a couple of movies I've never seen, but after hearing their review, I had to look it up. Give them a listen and you'll be a fan, too..
My new binge
I heard you both on Hillbilly Horror Stories and I can’t get enough. I love listening to father and daughter discussing past movies, and hearing Beth’s view of what she thinks about the movie.
I love the banter back and forth!
I laugh so hard in every episode just from the banter between James and Beth. Plus I love all these movies and it’s so fun to hear the different views between father and daughter. Every podcast has been reminding me of all the movies my teenage daughter needs to see, she’ll love it LOL.
Fantastic concept!
Father and daughter hosts who give their opinions and rate mostly 80s movies...uh yeah, I’m SO in! Great banter, and so much fun!
Excellet Podcast Buuuuud-dies!
James and Beth reviewing the greatest movies of yesteryear with insights from two totally different generations is hilarious and entertaining from start to end. Keep it up!
The 80’s baby
This show is nostalgia in a bottle. James and is hilarious side kick Beth, take you through the movies that made the 80’s so rad. 5 stars, double thumbs way up! Most Excellent podcast.
New Favorite!
I absolutely love this show! I love listening to James and Beth break down some of my childhood favorites, so I get to relive them, but they also point out things I had never noticed, even if I have watched the movie 100 times. I always look forward to new episodes, and truely enjoy every one!
Love it!
Super amazing podcast with the best host! Highly recommended!
So much fun!
This is a really fun podcast. I’ve always been the kind of person that watches the same movies over and over. There are movie lines from my childhood and throughout my life that find their way into my current every day world. They are part of who I am. So going back and watching these movies is like hanging out with family. Discussing them with a new generation brings an updated perspective and it’s interesting hear someone younger talk about these movies because they’ve grown up with so much more technology. I really look forward to what comes next! Keep them coming!
Episode four
Okay, I thought your review was spot on. The two of you have a wonderful dialogue, great interaction, and you compliment each other’s opinions. My favorite people are the Maitlands. Next was Winona Ryder’s portrayal of Lydia. Her personality changed completely from the beginning of the movie to the ending where she asked if they could do the dance. From sad and miserable to happy and comfortable with herself. Of course Keaton was at his best. Reminded me of listening to Popeye when he would say things just loud enough to be heard, but you had to listen closely. Sort of mumbling but had impact and implications of what was going on. The cartoon and Robin Williams both. Again, I am looking forward to the next movie. You guys are great!
Episode 4
Beetlejuice what a Great Movie listening to James and Beth break down the movie and Characters was amazing brought back so many memories that I had long forgotten. You both do such a Great Job and make it so interesting bringing in a lot of facts that I wasn’t aware of you guys make me think ,your words are so colorful and descriptive I can picture scenes in my mind and really get into the Plot of the story all over again.Love all the singing,Humor, character noises it all added up to a delightful evening of Listening to the STARS.👍
Awesome First Podcast
I think James and Beth sounded great. They sounded like they were having fun in discussing the Labyrinth. I’m not a fan of the movie they reviewed but really enjoyed hearing their thoughts on it and they now have me considering watching it again with new eyes. Looking forward to hearing more from these two.
